All of our care staff are qualified to a minimum of SVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care and registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). Our senior staff are qualified to level 3 and our Team Leaders are qualified to Level 3 with at least 2 years experience in a managerial role and our Operations Manager is qualified to Level 4 and has nearly 10 years experience of managing care homes, often over many sites at the same time.
The team is completed with a Home Manager and Deputy Manager who have worked in the home since it opened 7 years ago, both are qualified to Level 4 and both have vast experience of care delivery in a variety of settings.
The team is enhanced with our equally experienced catering and ancillary staff who provide essential catering and domestic services.
Yes, we can care for a huge range of different conditions from general frailty to full dependency. We have an incredible staff team who will assess any potential resident for admission and use our experience to determine whether we think Abbey Court is the right home for you or your loved one.
Absolutely. We believe that fresh, locally sourced food should always be the main ingredient in our meals.
We offer a full cooked breakfast every morning, at least 2 choices for lunch and dinner and lots of snacks in between.
